奈良県出身。
幼少の頃より花柳智人(はなやぎともひと)に手ほどきをうけ、東京芸術大学卒業後、二世花柳壽應に師事。
文部科学大臣奨励賞を始め、『走れメロス』にて舞踊批評家協会新人賞。振付助手として坂東玉三郎公演、宝塚公演、蜷川幸雄演出作品などにも参加する。

4歳より藤間流に入門、稽古を始める。
2002年 六世藤間勘右衞門より藤間涼太朗の名前を許される。
2006年 四代目尾上松緑門下となり尾上松男を名乗る。
2017年 歌舞伎俳優から日本舞踊家に転向。
赤坂こども歌舞伎会の講師を始め、こども向け日本舞踊教室を開催するなど、次世代育成にも力を入れている。舞台の振付や演出も多数手掛ける。

高校からタップ、ジャズやヒップホップをはじめ様々なダンスに触れる。
大学で木佐貫邦子にコンテンポラリーダンスを学び、捉われない踊りに目覚める。
2014年から水中めがね∞のメンバーになる。
劇場を飛び出し、MVやCM、ブランドムービーのダンスディレクション・出演を精力的に行う。水中めがね∞での活動を行う傍ら、日本文化を再興し、新しく発信する『踊る銭湯』、ダンサー鈴木陽平率いる『Bullet』にも参加。

幼少時よりクラシックバレエ、日本舞踊を学び、足袋とトゥシューズの狭間で思春期を過ごす。桜美林大学にて演劇を学び始め、在学中に水中めがね∞を立ち上げ作品創作を開始する。
現在は、ダンスフェスティバルや自主公演などで自身の作品を発表しつつ、ミュージカル・音楽ライブ・MV・実験映像などへの振付提供も行う。これまで、木佐貫邦子・近藤良平(コンドルズ)・伊藤千枝子(元「珍しいキノコ舞踊団」)・岩渕貞太等のダンス作品や、市原佐都子(演劇ユニット「Q」)の演劇作品等に出演。

Majored in theatrical play at J.F. Oberlin University, and started up ’Suichu-Megane∞’ to begin creating her own work during her time at university.
Currently, she presents her own productions at dance festivals and independent performances, and also provides the choreography for musicals, live music, music videos, and experimental videos.
She has appeared in dance works by Kuniko Kisanuki, Ryohei Kondo (Condors), Chieko Ito (former 珍しいキノコ舞踊団), Teita Iwabuchi, and theatrical productions by Satoko Ichihara (Theatrical unit Q).
